Even before the release of his upcoming film, director Park Hoon-jung is already planning to team up with Warner Brothers Korea on a second film.

Ma-nyo (마녀 or “Witch”) is the story of a female high school student who has been trained as a professional assassin. No additional information – including casting or expected date for the start of production – has been made available about the project.

Park is currently working on post-production for V.I.P., his first project with Warner Brothers Korea. The noir thriller is about cops from North and South Korea working together to stop a serial killer, the son of a high ranking North Korean official. The film stars Jang Dong-gun, Kim Myung-min, Park Hee-soon and Lee Jong-suk.

Warner Brothers Korea has been making an aggressive push into local productions. Last year, Kim Jee-woon’s Age of Shadows (밀정) earned ₩61.3 billion (US$54.3 million) from 7.5 million admissions. However, their second film Single Rider (싱글라이더) underperformed at the box office.

Other upcoming WB Korea productions include Lee Jeong-beom’s Bad Cop (translated title) (악질경찰) and Kim’s remake of Jin-Roh.
