The Five Flavours Film Festival – Poland’s only film festival devoted to Asian cinema – will open this year’s edition (November 15th-22nd) with Ann Hui’s Our Time Will Come (明月幾時有).

Set during the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong during World War Two, the wartime drama stars Zhou Xun as a primary school teacher who joins a band of guerrilla fighters, led by a sharpshooter played by Eddie Peng. Distribution Workshop is handling international sales.

Our Time Will Come is part of an Ann Hui retrospective being held at the festival this year. The other films in the program are A Simple Life (桃姐), Summer Snow (女人四十), Boat People (投奔怒海), and The Secret (瘋劫).

Last week, the festival also announced that it will host a Baahubali (பாகுபலி) marathon. The full lineup is expected to be announce in the coming weeks.
